Reduced Inequalities
At SAFYI, we recognize that education is a fundamental human right and an essential tool for achieving social, economic, and political inclusion. However, many individuals here still face discrimination and unequal access to education, limiting their opportunities and perpetuating cycles of poverty and exclusion.
We endeavor to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. We are committed to ending discrimination, promoting inclusive policies and practices, and investing in the educational development of all communities, particularly those most in need.
It is our shared responsibility to ensure that every person, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or any other factor, has access to quality education and equal opportunities.
Furthermore, we recognize that education alone is not enough to achieve true inclusion and equality. We would like to address broader societal issues such as poverty, inequality, and marginalization, which often limit individuals’ opportunities and perpetuate cycles of disadvantage (and for this, we collaborate with other sister-organizations).
To this end, we encourage development assistance and investment in the education sector in Nigeria, we are working to promote social, economic, and political inclusion, recognizing that true equality and inclusion cannot be achieved without addressing the root causes of inequality and marginalization.
