SAFYI Mission
Our mission is to get youngsters to solve real-life problems by inspiring them to be creative, equipping them with scientific skills and tools, and coaching them to develop innovative solutions to problems in their communities, all using science as an entry point.
SAFYI Vision
Our vision is to stimulate scientific- awareness, education and Innovation Revolution in Nigeria and beyond: a movement in which young people across the globe are developing innovative solutions to problems in their communities using science education as the entry-point.
About SAFYI
We are team SAFYI, a non-for-profit organization (and non-governmental organization) whose goal is to create a culture of innovation and real-life problem solving among youngsters in Nigeria and the world at large. SAFYI is an acronym for Science Advocacy for Youngsters Initiative.
We (non-discriminately) advocate for an increase in awareness about fundamental issues in the field of science, supplementing practical-based science education, enhance science teaching and learning skills, inspire science careers through exposure to scientific research and career opportunities in the areas of basic-sciences, allied health sciences and medicine.
We are passionate changemakers nurturing other potential changemakers to make a positive impact in the society.
